I have been teaching Technical Writing and College Composition courses at American River College since 2004. In addition to helping students enhance their critical thinking and communication skills, I also enjoy helping students who are interested in professional writing careers.
The Technical Communications program has changed over the years to keep up with the industry. In 2020, the Technical Communications Certificate was revised to include coursework in Computer Information Science and Graphic Design, providing students with the skills to instruct and inform audiences with a variety of print and digital media.
